You will experience full-service camping under the big African sky, which gets you off the beaten path and closer to the region’s wildlife
Our representative will meet you on arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You will then be briefed on your upcoming safari and transferred to the Sarova Stanley Hotel for your overnight stay. If you arrive early enough we can take you on a complimentary city tour
After breakfast you will make your way south to Amboseli National Park, which is famous for its spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro (weather permitting). You will arrive at the Amboseli Kibo Safari Camp in time for lunch and then go on an afternoon game drive at 1600hrs. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
Leave on a full day game drive (0630 to 1600hrs) within Amobseli National Park. Amboseli sits at the foot of Africia’s highest mountain, Kilimanjaro, and is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. It lies 150 miles southeast of Nairobi and is very close to the Tanzanian border. The snow-capped peak of Mt. Kilimanjaro rises above the clouds and dominates every aspect of this landscape. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the camp.
Leave Amboseli after breakfast and make your way north to the Outspan Hotel. This hotel is the base for your tree hotel, the Treetops Lodge. Eat lunch in the club and then make your way to the lodge, which is in Aberdare National Park. The lodge has various decks and balconies for easy viewing and wildlife photography. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Leave after breakfast and drive north through the lush Kikuyu farmlands and coffee planations to the cool Kenyan highlands, where the Sarova Shaba Game Lodge is located. You will eat lunch and then go on an afternoon game drive at 1600hrs. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Spend the full day (0630 to 1600hrs) in the reserve on a game drive. Samburu is famous for its rare mammals that only survive north of the equator. These include the gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Beira oryx and Grevy’s zebra. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Depart after breakfast and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Enjoy some free time relaxing at the lodge and then go on a game drive at 1600 hrs. You will visit the shores of the lake, where the flamingos that live here create an incredible pink hue on the lake’s surface. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
After breakfast you will make your way to Lake Naivasha, arriving in time for lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort. At 1600hrs you can go on an optional boat ride to visit Crescent Island. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort.
Leave Lake Naivasha after breakfast and then drive across the Great Rift Valley floor to the world famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, arriving at the Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. At 1600hrs you will go on an afternoon game drive in the reserve. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
Spend the full day (0630 to 1600hrs) on a game drive with the reserve. The Masai Mara is the northern extension of the Serengeti. Its rolling plains are home to hundreds of plains game and the predators that feed on them. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at the lodge.
After an early morning game drive you will depart for Nairobi, arriving around midday in time for lunch at the famous Carnivore restaurant. Carnivore has been (quite justifiably) referred to as Africa’ greatest dining experience, having twice been voted among the world’s 50 best restaurants by a UK based restaurant magazine. You will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home.
